女性人生連續劇之決定版！！
「演歌の女王」中演歌歌手一角、「女王の教室」的教師一角等、近年來連續演出強烈性格的天海，私下就表現出格外與40前後世代重疊的情形。
「アラフォー」，即指35～44歳四捨五入為40歳的世代。特別是女性：結婚、生産、工作等，這年齡是人生最大的轉折點，也是最最有元氣最受注目的世代！本劇就在說明這世代所懷抱如糾纏的葛藤、抓緊著幸福也讓人生多采多姿的喜劇作品，由編寫「僕の生きる道」（我的生存之道）等的橋部敦子親自擔當脚本。
天海飾演有著高學歷、高收入、優秀的39歳之精神科醫生。天海説：「面對著每個煩惱的人諮詢，但自己自身的人生卻有更大的苦惱，如葛藤！」她對這角色解說：「生活的節奏也好、人生的價値觀也好、社会的地位也好、也要堅定的去要求人生希望的是甚麼？選擇甚麼？斷念些麼？…。橋部老師所描述充滿熱忱的世界，……值得深思」。
